You are required to pay the full fee at the time of the consultation and the Medicare rebate will be processed afterwards.
Medicare rebates depend on the eligibility criteria for Medicare as well as the complexity of the consultation, as outlined by Medicare Australia. Fees are subject to regular revisions and may change.

Arriving for The Appointment
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment to ensure all prior paperwork and registration of the patient is completed.
If the patient registration and paperwork is all completed prior to the appointment, you may get requested to wait outside as waiting room policies may change according to the situation with Covid 19 pandemic.
Parking
Parking available on site. Public parking available across the road on Bell Street Mall.
Who Can Sit with The Child During The Consultation?
Only two adults and one child is allowed in the consultation room with the exception of an infant less than 12 months to ensure consultation runs smoothly without siblings interfering and causing distractions.
If your child has behavioural problems and does not like staying in the consultation room, making sure you have someone to help you to sit with the child outside the consultation room would help consultation be less interrupted as much as possible.Cancelling or Rescheduling Appointments
Please contact Happy Kids Paediatrics via telephone number (03) 9123 4525 or send an email to reception@happykidspaediatrics.com.au to request rescheduling or cancellation of appointments at your earliest convenience. To help you in the process of confirming your appointment and attending the appointment with paediatrician, we send you reminders of the appointment via SMS as a courtesy, usually 2 days prior to the appointment. It is your responsibility to ensure you have confirmed your child’s appointment on time or request to reschedule without delay.
Failure to confirm appointment on time may result in the appointment being offered to another child as it may be considered as an indication that you do not wish to proceed with the appointment. How to Organise Telehealth Appointments
If you wish to have a telehealth appointment, please discuss with reception staff at the time of the booking of the appointment.
Medicare rebates for Telehealth consultations are organised in accordance with Medicare Australia requirements.
